No upcoming meets! Don’t forget to sign up for Winter Swim!

Message from Coach Dennis:

Dear Swimmers and Swim Team Parents,

Congratulations on an outstanding divisional meet! We had the highest percentage of improvements of all teams. We had three team records (Alex Grocholski in back and IM and Carter Layden in breast) and very few DQs. Most of all, I appreciate the hard work and dedication to the team by the swimmers and coaching staff.

Winter swimming registration is now open with a $50 discount until August 9th. Young swimmers must be able to swim across the deep end of the pool. This program is open to all Sudley members. Forms were emailed to last year’s participants. New families may pick up forms at the canteen.

Sudley is well known for many reasons. The sense of community is high on the list. The overwhelming support of so many families to work all day to provide our children with a day of memories was truly inspirational to me. A huge thank you to everyone for their generous devotion to the team.

Thank you to all the families who attended the senior speeches and divisional awards. The senior speeches were filled with humor, insight, and a clear appreciation for their years at Sudley. If you did not attend, please pick up your divisional ribbons in the canteen.

August 3rd through 14th: we will have swim practices from 11-12:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and fun field games on Tuesday and Thursday. This is free to all members. To participate in the swimming, you must be able to swim the length of the pool.

Swim Team and Tennis Awards will be held Sunday, August 23rd starting at 5:30pm. Please make every effort to attend to honor the recipients of the awards.
