Thank you for all of your efforts this morning at Time Trials! It was an efficient and fun event and a great kickoff to our season.

Following the success of signouts for Time Trials, we are adopting a new procedure moving forward.

Starting today, we will only accept signouts for swim meets via SwimTopia!

There is detailed information on the changes below. If you have any questions about these new procedures after reviewing it, please contact us!

❓ Why are we making this change?

We received feedback that using online signouts for Time Trials made it easier for parents and swimmers to communicate their availability. It was easier on volunteers and the meet ended sooner.

So signouts can now be completed remotely any time of day!

❓ Is the deadline still 8:00PM on Saturdays?

No. We are moving the deadline up to noon! All signouts must be completed via SwimTopia by noon on the Saturday preceding the meet.

However, we will honor the current deadline for the signout that is in progress for next week. If you need to sign out a swimmer for next week's meet at Meadowbrook (June 6), you can do so in SwimTopia through 8:00PM today.

Signouts for the June 13 meet at Wellington will be due at 12:00PM on the preceding Saturday and the deadline will always be noon thereafter.

❓ What if I already signed out for a meet using the book?

Your signouts are being transferred to SwimTopia today! If you need to make updates or changes, you can do so.

❓ Where is the book now?

Don't worry about it! It is gone forever!

❓ Do I also need to declare my swimmer as "attending" if they'll be at a meet?

No, but it's helpful to have your RSVP either way. If you do not mark anything in SwimTopia, we will assume your swimmer is attending the meet.

❓ What if my swimmer can only attend part of a swim meet?

If your child is attending a meet and needs to leave early, please mark them as "Attending." SwimTopia will prompt you to indicate relay availability and leave a note for the coach. Use this to include what time your swimmer needs to leave. For example, you could say "available through backstroke" or "must leave by 10:30AM."

❓ How do I sign out?

- Visit our SwimTopia site (https://sudleyseahorses.swimtopia.com/) or open your SwimTopia app and log in.
- Select "Schedule."
- Beside the event, select the green "Meet Entry" button on the website or the "Meet Signup" button on the app.
- Select the green "Edit" at the bottom of the page.
- Using the drop-down menu, select "Not attending this meet" for each swimmer who cannot attend. Select "Attending" for swimmers who must leave early, indicate their availability for relays, and leave a note for the coach about their departure time.
- Save your changes using the green "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
